Job description
Job Description: The Expert Corrosion-Materials Engineer will provide specialized knowledge on corrosion phenomena and recommend advanced materials to prevent corrosion in project applications. Key Responsibilities: Lead assessments and provide expert recommendations for corrosion-resistant materials. Develop innovative corrosion prevention and mitigation strategies for the project. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Corrosion Engineering, Materials Science, or related field. 5 to 15 years of experience in corrosion engineering, materials science, or a related field. Strong understanding of corrosion phenomena, including electrochemical reactions, chemical reactions, and physical processes. Ability to analyze complex data sets and develop effective solutions. Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical information to non-technical stakeholders. Certifications: ASME, NACE, or equivalent.
