Job description
Our client is a dynamic and respected survey firm delivering expert surveying services across regional Queensland. You will be taking on a role as a Surveyor in a professional culture, with long-term client partnerships, and innovative approach to land and construction surveying. Based in Kingaroy, QLD.
Roles and Responsibilities:
We're seeking a well-rounded and adaptable surveyor who can confidently handle a variety of tasks across field and office environments. Ideally, you will have:

- Conduct a broad range of surveys including cadastral, engineering, construction, and topographic
- Operate and manage modern surveying equipment such as total stations, GNSS, laser scanners, and drones
- Process survey data and produce accurate plans using industry-standard software (e.g., 12d, AutoCAD)
- Liaise and collaborate with clients, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure project goals are achieved
- Ensure all work complies with industry regulations, quality standards, and safety procedures
- Maintain clear and accurate field records, reports, and documentation
- Provide mentoring, guidance, or supervision to junior team members as required
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and professional team environment
We're seeking a well-rounded and adaptable surveyor who can confidently handle a variety of tasks across field and office environments. Ideally, you will have:
- Have at least 1 years fulltime industry relevant working experience
- Hold a Diploma or Degree in Surveying or Spatial Science
- Demonstrated experience across a range of survey types, including cadastral, engineering, construction, and topographic
- Proficiency with modern survey instruments such as GNSS, total stations, drones, and laser scanners
- Strong skills in survey data processing and drafting using software such as 12d, AutoCAD, or similar
- High attention to detail, solid problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- A current driver’s license and willingness to travel for regional projects
- Registration with the Surveyors Board of Queensland, or actively working towards it
