Job description
Job Brief We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled sewing machinist to be part of our company. You will be part of a team assembling pet bedding, coats, toys, and household soft goods. This is a great opportunity for those who will be joining an expanding business. Job Responsibilities Operate and maintain sewing machines and related parts, including pattern plates, needles, presser feet, automatic cutting tools and blades. Read and interpret work orders and adjust machines and materials accordingly. Ensure high-quality production and maintain a clean and organized workspace. Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating machines, and report any issues or malfunctions to the supervisor. Job Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required. 2+ years of experience as a sewing machinist. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. Job Benefits Competitive hourly rate.
