We’re looking for a hair stylist to join our friendly team at Samson’s — a well-known, family-run salon that’s been proudly serving Risca for over 40 years. Whether you’re a colour expert, cutting specialist, or an all-round stylist with flair, we want to hear from you!

What You'll Do:

• Deliver a range of professional hair services, including cutting, colouring, styling, and treatments
• Build genuine relationships with clients by offering personalised consultations and advice
• Maintain high salon standards — clean, organised, safe and welcoming
• Support front-of-house operations including appointment booking and customer care
• Recommend products and treatments that suit your clients' needs — no pushy sales
• Mentor apprentices or junior stylists (dependent on experience)
• Help shape a positive, collaborative team culture

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven salon experience as a qualified hair stylist
• Skilled in cutting, colouring, styling — barbering skills are a bonus
• Confident, warm, and professional with excellent people skills
• Dedicated, reliable and not scared of hard work
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Hairdressing (or equivalent)
• A positive attitude, commitment to quality, and love of learning
