About the Role:

We are seeking experienced drain layers to join our dynamic team in Christchurch. This is a full-time, permanent position ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on role and is committed to delivering top-notch plumbing and drainage solutions on major projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation, maintenance, and repair of drainage systems
• Working with blueprints and building plans to meet the needs of clients
• Collaborating with other construction professionals to complete projects on time and within budget
• Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with New Zealand building codes and safety regulations
• Diagnosing and resolving drainage issues efficiently

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• At least 3 years of experience in drain laying and plumbing
• Strong understanding of New Zealand building codes and safety regulations
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and building plans
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Relevant certifications and licenses in drain laying
• Must have own transport to and from work
• Must be able to pass pre empoloyment drug test
