About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Cook/Chef to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have experience in preparing a variety of dishes, maintaining high food quality and hygiene standards, and working effectively in a busy kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes according to our menu standards
2. Assist in menu planning, portion control, and cost management
3. Ensure proper storage, handling, and rotation of ingredients
4. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen and work areas
5. Comply with all food safety and workplace health regulations
6. Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff to deliver excellent customer experiences

Skills & Experience:

1. Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent experience
2. Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking methods, and presentation
3. Ability to work efficiently under pressure
4. Excellent attention to detail and time management
5. Flexible availability including weekends and public holidays
