As a Baker at Dardanup Bakery, your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing, mixing, shaping, and baking a wide variety of breads, rolls, pastries, and sweet baked goods
  
• Operating and maintaining commercial bakery equipment
  
• Ensuring consistent product quality by following recipes and baking procedures
  
• Monitoring oven temperatures and adjusting timing and settings as needed
  
• Managing production schedules to meet daily targets
  
• Complying with hygiene, health, and food safety standards
  
• Assisting with stock control and ordering of ingredients
  
• Working collaboratively with the bakery team to maintain a clean and efficient work environment
  

• Trade qualification in baking (Certificate III in Baking or equivalent)
  
• Minimum 2 years of commercial baking experience (post-qualification)
  
• Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and peak periods as rostered
  
• Strong understanding of food hygiene and safety standards
  
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and in a team
  
• Positive attitude and pride in producing high-quality baked goods
  

• Experience with sourdoughs and artisan bread production
  
• Pasty and cake decorating skills
  
• Knowledge of gluten-free or specialty dietary baking
