Demurrage Expediter

In this role, you combine operational expertise with coaching a team in a dynamic, international environment. As Teamleader Demurrage, you are the driving force behind daily operations and further development of the team. You take full ownership over the correct handling of storage and demurrage processes, ensuring optimal use of resources and minimizing costs. Your excellent communication skills enable you to effectively collaborate with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders. You have a keen eye for detail and can identify opportunities for process improvements. As a Teamleader Demurrage, you are responsible for: • Coordinating and supervising the daily activities of the demurrage team; • Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations; • Developing and implementing effective processes to minimize storage costs and optimize resource utilization; • Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders; • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing changes as needed; • Maintaining accurate records of demurrage activities and reporting on key performance indicators.
