Exercise Physiologist - Neurological Rehab

Our Client: Our client is a growing private practice who specialises in treating a broad spectrum of neurological conditions. Their highly-skilled team is comprised of Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists, Occupational Therapists and Speech Pathologists who work collaboratively to service clients with a range of conditions including SCI, neuromuscular disorders, ABI and other neurological presentations. About the Role: We are currently looking for an Exercise Physiologist to take on a specific role within our multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting exercise programs for clients with neurological conditions, including those with spinal cord injuries, stroke, Parkinson's disease, and other neurological disorders. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the physiological and psychological effects of exercise on individuals with neurological conditions. The role will involve working closely with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualised exercise programs that meet the unique needs of each client. The successful candidate will be a motivated and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about working with clients with neurological conditions. They will be a strong communicator and team player who is able to work effectively with clients, families and other healthcare professionals. The role will offer the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment with a team of experienced healthcare professionals. The successful candidate will be required to hold a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology or a related field, and have a minimum of 2 years' experience working in a similar role. The ideal candidate will also have a strong understanding of the principles of exercise physiology and the ability to apply this knowledge in a clinical setting.
