Executive - Repair and Maintenance

Designation: Executive - Repair and Maintenance Location: Pune Job Summary: The Executive – RnM supports daily operations within the Appliances & Furniture repair workshop. This role ensures timely task completion, quality workmanship, and optimal use of resources under the guidance of the RnM Head. Key Responsibilities 1. Workshop Coordination Assist in planning and scheduling daily repair jobs to meet customer expectations. Coordinate technician assignments based on skillset and job priority. Ensure that all tasks are completed within the allocated timeframe. Monitor and control inventory levels for spare parts, consumables, and tools. Identify and report any discrepancies or issues with equipment, materials, or processes. 2. Quality Control Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that all repairs meet customer expectations. Verify that all work is done in accordance with established procedures and standards. Identify and address any defects or non-conformities promptly. Implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence of defects. 3. Resource Management Optimize the use of resources, including technicians, tools, and equipment. Ensure that all resources are utilized efficiently and effectively. Monitor and control labor costs, material usage, and other expenses. Identify opportunities for cost savings and implement changes accordingly. 4. Communication Develop and maintain effective communication with customers, technicians, and other stakeholders. Respond to customer inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner. Provide regular updates on job status and progress. Coordinate with the RnM Head to resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise. 5. Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes accordingly. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of new processes and procedures. Make recommendations for changes to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality.
