Company Overview Join a large, complex financial‑services environment focused on improving customer‑risk management, modernising financial crime capability and meeting regulatory expectations. Role Overview As Executive Manager – Customer Risk, you will own the development, methodology and implementation of the dynamic Customer Risk Assessment (dCRA) framework and ensure it is explainable, scalable and regulatory‑ready. Key Responsibilities Lead the strategy, design and documentation of the dCRA framework, ensuring alignment with relevant regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Develop and maintain the dCRA methodology, including risk factors, scoring models, and segmentation approaches. Oversee the implementation of the dCRA framework across various customer portfolios and business lines. Collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation, including risk, compliance, technology, and business teams, to ensure successful implementation and ongoing management of the framework. Provide expert guidance and support to business units on customer risk-related matters. Monitor and analyse the effectiveness of the dCRA framework, identifying areas for improvement and driving continuous enhancements. Stay abreast of emerging customer risk trends, regulatory changes, and industry best practices, and incorporate them into the dCRA framework. Manage and mentor a team of customer risk professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability. Requirements Proven experience in customer risk management within the financial services industry. In-depth knowledge of customer risk assessment methodologies, including KYC/AML and sanctions screening. Strong understanding of relevant regulatory requirements and industry best practices (e.g., FATF, Basel). Experience in developing and implementing risk frameworks and models. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels. Experience in leading and managing a team of professionals. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., finance, economics, business). Desirable Experience with data analytics and statistical modeling techniques. Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) systems. Experience with fraud detection and prevention.
