Executive Housekeeper

POSITION SUMMARY The Executive Housekeeper is a critical member of the shipboard management team, responsible for the management of all Housekeeping functions and team members onboard. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. In accordance with Royal Caribbean International’s philosophy of Anchored in Excellence, each employee conducts oneself in a professional and courteous manner at all times. 2. Ensures cleanliness, maintenance and presentation standards are managed to brand standards in all areas of the ship, including guest cabins, public areas, and crew quarters. 3. Develops and implements effective Housekeeping procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. 4. Provides guidance and training to Housekeeping staff on proper cleaning techniques, product usage, and safety procedures. 5. Conducts regular inspections of all areas of the ship to ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and presentation standards are met. 6. Collaborates with other departments to resolve any issues or concerns related to Housekeeping. 7. Maintains accurate records of Housekeeping activities, including inventory management, supply ordering, and equipment maintenance. 8. Develops and manages budgets for Housekeeping supplies and services. 9. Ensures compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements regarding waste disposal, recycling, and environmental sustainability. 10. Participates in shipboard meetings and training sessions as required.
