Executive Chef - Luxury Lodge

A prestigious 5-star luxury safari lodge is seeking an exceptional Executive Chef to lead and elevate its culinary offering across the entire guest experience. This senior leadership position is suited to a highly skilled, refined, and creative chef with a passion for luxury hospitality, world-class cuisine, and impeccable presentation. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving culinary excellence while managing all operational aspects of a high-performing safari lodge kitchen. The Executive Chef will oversee the entire food and beverage operation, including menu planning, inventory management, staff supervision, and quality control. This role requires a strong leader who can inspire and motivate a team to deliver exceptional results. Key responsibilities include: • Developing and implementing innovative menus that showcase local and international flavors • Managing and controlling kitchen operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and inventory management • Leading and mentoring a team of chefs, cooks, and other kitchen staff • Maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety • Collaborating with the lodge's F&B Manager to develop and implement marketing strategies for the restaurant and bar • Building strong relationships with suppliers and local farmers to source fresh and sustainable ingredients • Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations • Participating in the development of the lodge's overall strategy and contributing to the growth and success of the business.
