Excavator Operator with Class 4 Licence - Christchurch

We're seeking a skilled and experienced Excavator Operator with a Class 4 licence for a full-time role working across residential and commercial sites in Christchurch.

About the Role:

Operate excavators safely and efficiently across a range of projects
Site prep, excavation, foundation and landscaping work
Work alongside drainage crews and complete trenching as required
Occasional Class 4 truck driving (primarily an operator role)
Load/unload machinery and materials as needed

What We're Looking For:

2+ years' experience in excavation within construction or building
Able to read site plans, use a laser, and dig to levels with accuracy
Sound understanding of civil construction (e.g. concrete/asphalt prep, retaining walls)
Strong safety awareness, problem-solving skills, and teamwork
Physically fit and able to assist on the ground when required
Must hold a current NZ Driver's Licence (Class 4 required)
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test
NZ Citizen, Resident, or valid Work Visa holder

Hours: Minimum 35 hours per week
