Events, Marketing & Sales stage

Novotel Amsterdam City and Mercure Amsterdam City As Events, Marketing & Sales Trainee, you will be working for 2 hotels, namely Novotel Amsterdam City and Mercure Amsterdam City. Both hotels are part of the hotel group Accor. Novotel Amsterdam City is one of the largest four-star hotels in the BeNeLux. The hotel has 610 rooms, 20 meeting rooms and a large restaurant that can accommodate 260 guests. In addition, there is a great bar where our guests can enjoy a drink. Mercure Amsterdam City is a 3-star hotel with 240 rooms, 10 meeting rooms and a cozy bar. As Events, Marketing & Sales Trainee, you will be responsible for organizing events, marketing activities and sales efforts for both hotels. You will work closely with the hotel teams to develop and implement marketing strategies, create promotional materials, and coordinate events. You will also be responsible for analyzing sales data and making recommendations to improve sales performance. The traineeship will last for 12 months and will be divided into 3 phases. In the first phase, you will work on a specific project, in the second phase, you will work on a specific project and assist the hotel teams, and in the third phase, you will work independently on a specific project. You will also have the opportunity to participate in training sessions and workshops to develop your skills and knowledge. At the end of the traineeship, you will be evaluated and may be offered a permanent position at one of the hotels. The traineeship is open to students and recent graduates who are interested in a career in the hospitality industry. The ideal candidate should have a degree in a relevant field, such as hospitality, marketing, or sales, and should have a strong interest in the hospitality industry. The candidate should also have excellent communication and organizational skills, and be able to work independently and as part of a team.
