To strengthen our expert team at K-tronik, a customer from the telecommunications industry, we're looking for an Event Manager (m/w/d) for internal developer events. We're excited to get to know you personally and work together with enthusiasm and teamwork on exciting projects and future-oriented technologies.

Tasks:

  • We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented **Event Manager**, who will support our Corporate R&D Event program in the planning, execution, and follow-up of internal developer events. In this role, you'll be responsible for all aspects of event planning, execution, and follow-up, and report directly to the R&D Program Manager*. - Event Project Management: Support in planning and implementing developer events - Logistics Management: Coordination of all event logistics, including location reservation, catering, setting up the expo area, AV requirements, and coordination of the event team on site - Content Management Support: Maintenance and updating of the event website and online platform, including uploading programs, speaker abstracts, presentations, and recordings after the event. Creation and management of links for individual presentation sessions. - Speaker & Attendee Support: First point of contact for speakers with clear communication about event details, presentation requirements, and organizational workflows. Supporting attendees in registration and event-related inquiries. - Administrative Support: Taking over additional back-office tasks in event management to ensure smooth operations. - Follow-up: Conducting post-event surveys and creating reports and evaluations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification, or relevant work experience. - At least 2 years of proven experience in event management, ideally with a focus on technical events or developer events. - Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines reliably. - Very good organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail. - Proficiency in using content management systems (e.g., Confluence, SharePoint, etc.). - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team effectively. - Experience in the technical event field is an advantage.
