ETF Operations Lead - 6 month contract - London

Marshall Wolfe are hiring on behalf of our client based in the insurance sector.

We’re seeking an experienced ETF Operations Lead to play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering a new ETF operating model. This is a hands-on leadership position, working at the intersection of fund operations, investment operations, and programme delivery.

You’ll lead operational design and go-live readiness, ensuring the ETF model is fit for purpose, compliant, and seamlessly integrated into BAU processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive operational design for the ETF operating model – from process flows to system integration.
• Represent Operations in cross-functional workshops with internal teams and external partners.
• Embed ETF-specific requirements such as AP interactions, PCF mechanics, and NAV/share price divergence.
• Support the onboarding of APs and market makers, including KYC/AML and portal setup.
• Partner with fund accounting, risk, compliance, and investment operations to ensure alignment.
• Act as SME for ETF workflows, contributing to documentation, validation, and operational readiness.

Requirements

• Proven experience in ETF operations, ideally within Irish fund structures.
• Demonstrated success in building or implementing ETF operating models.
• In-depth knowledge of AP portals, trade lifecycle management, and NAV validation.
• Familiarity with Aladdin and its integration within fund operating models.
• Strong stakeholder management and third-party oversight experience.
