The Role
We are seeking a motivated Estimator / Preconstruction professional to join the Sydney team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to high-profile projects, support the bidding process, and gain exposure across preconstruction activities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial, fit out, and refurbishment projects
- Assisting with tender documentation, scope reviews, and subcontractor engagement
- Conducting quantity take-offs and cost analysis to inform project bids
- Supporting project teams in preconstruction planning and risk assessment
- Collaborating with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure accurate pricing and value engineering
- 2+ years' experience in estimating or preconstruction within commercial construction, fit out, or refurb projects
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or similar preferred
- Proactive, organised, and able to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Exposure to high-profile projects across Sydney
- Structured preconstruction processes and mentoring from experienced senior estimators
