Job description
Job Title: Estimator Location: Wellington, Western Cape Job Type: Full-time We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our client's team in Wellington, Western Cape. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimating and a proven track record of accurately assessing project costs and preparing competitive bids. Responsibilities: - Review project drawings and specifications to accurately estimate material, labor, and equipment costs - Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate and timely estimates - Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of project specifications, drawings, and schedules - Prepare and present estimates to clients and internal stakeholders - Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues - Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or related field - 3+ years of experience in construction estimating - Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry practices - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
