Job description

Seeking a Senior Estimator with Fit Out & Refurbishment / Construction experience to join their pre-construction team.

My client is a top tier fit out and construction contractor that specialise in projects $20M - $100million +.

They deliver high quality projects across the nation, in a range of sectors including small and large-scale commercial workspaces, hi-tech sites, education, science, health, biotech, hospitality and retail.

Duties & Responsibilities

Preparing detailed BOQ’s and variations
Summarising scope of works and tenders
Working with the delivery team to prepare proposals
Preparing initial estimating assessments of tenders for tender shortlist review
Liaising with suppliers, subcontractors and internal procurement team to negotiate pricing

Skills Required

5+ years’ + experience as an Estimator within the construction industry. Ideally in Fitout & Refurbishment or within a reputable contractor.
Degree qualified in Construction Management or Quantity Surveying
Experience Estimating on Commercial, Retail, Education, Government projects up to $10m+
Advanced in CostX / Cubit or alike
Strong communicator, financial acumen and attention to detail
