Estimating Manager

We are looking for an Estimating Manager who enjoys leading a small team and keeping jobs flowing smoothly through to the site. This Brisbane builder has a strong reputation and a steady pipeline of work, and they're looking for someone who can bring both accuracy and leadership to the estimating function.

This role is all about balance. You'll be across the details of BOQs, purchase orders and variations, while also guiding a team and making sure jobs are never stuck in the system. You'll work closely with construction, drafting and procurement, solving problems before they become bottlenecks and creating the kind of workflow that makes everyone's job easier. In this role, you'll be:

• Leading a small team of estimators, supporting them in delivering accurate and timely work

• Overseeing BOQs, estimates and purchase orders with an eye for both detail and efficiency

• Reviewing plans, specifications and variations so jobs are costed right the first time

• Maintaining supplier and trade pricing, ensuring cost integrity

• Streamlining processes to keep jobs moving and reduce bottlenecks

• Working with internal teams to ensure smooth handovers and clear communication

What you'll bring:

• A solid background in residential estimating within a builder environment

• Experience leading or mentoring a small team

• Strong organisational skills with a focus on workflow and deadlines

• Proficiency in estimating software such as Databuild, Onsite Companion or BuildSoft

• A detail-driven mindset with the ability to problem-solve quickly
