The year was 1987. In Serrinha, two young biochemists believed they could do more than just work in clinical analysis. And they dared to dream of their own Laboratory. Even though it was a risky bet, courage gave birth to Laboratório Estrela.

New members joined the purpose, and the then biochemists became entrepreneurs. People behind techniques. Commitment and dedication to overcome challenges. The humanized approach combined with the persistence in continuous improvement, increasingly professionalized care and made the first Laboratory in Serrinha a reference in customer service and quality in laboratory exams.

Today, we have more than 25 collection points throughout the Northeast region of Bahia and are crossing the state's borders towards Alagoas. The dedication, the love, and the certainty that we can continue contributing to the local economy, generating revenue and income through hundreds of direct and indirect jobs also in Alagoas is what drives us.
