THE ICONIC Commercial team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Established Buyer - Women's to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing our women's buying portfolio, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and profitability. Key responsibilities include: • Developing and implementing effective buying strategies to achieve sales targets and margin goals. • Building strong relationships with suppliers and negotiating competitive pricing and terms. • Collaborating with the Merchandising team to ensure product offerings are aligned with customer needs and market trends. • Analyzing sales data and market trends to inform buying decisions and optimize product ranges. • Maintaining a deep understanding of our customers' preferences, behaviors, and shopping habits to drive informed buying decisions. • Working closely with the Marketing team to develop targeted marketing campaigns that drive sales and brand awareness. • Providing expert advice on product range development, pricing, and inventory management to drive business growth and profitability. • Maintaining a high level of product knowledge and staying up-to-date with industry trends and developments. • Participating in cross-functional teams to drive business growth and profitability. • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and other stakeholders. • Providing exceptional customer service by responding promptly to customer inquiries and resolving issues efficiently. • Maintaining accurate records of all buying activities, including supplier communications, product information, and sales data. • Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to drive process efficiencies and improve overall performance. What we're looking for: • 3+ years of experience as a buyer or similar role in the fashion industry. • Strong understanding of the women's fashion market and current trends. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines. • Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and make informed decisions. • Experience working with e-commerce platforms and understanding of digital marketing principles. • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or related field.
