Sr. Learning & Development Specialist – IT Talent

At BABEL Mexico, we are looking to add someone who can help us continue to professionalize the way we develop our talent.

We are looking for a senior specialist in Learning & Development, with the ability to transform business needs into end-to-end development solutions: understanding what capabilities we need to strengthen, designing the learning strategy, implementing it, and measuring its results.

The position will have a significant focus on technological talent development, but you do not need to be a technical specialist.

What will be your challenge?

• Design and manage end-to-end development solutions: needs diagnosis, capability definition, design, implementation, monitoring, and measurement.
• Build technological development paths, working with experts in Java, Data, Cloud, QA, and other disciplines to turn their needs into training, certifications, mentoring, practice, or other alternatives.
• Design leadership, management, and interpersonal skills solutions for different levels of the organization, including senior populations.
• Develop a network of internal trainers, identifying experts and helping them structure and share their knowledge.
• Manage vendors, proposals, certifications, budgets, and business cases, seeking effective solutions and leveraging available internal resources.
• Define indicators and measure the effectiveness and impact of development initiatives, beyond attendance or satisfaction.
• Explore and leverage technology and AI applied to learning, staying up-to-date on how roles, skills, and talent development methods are evolving.

What are we looking for?

• Solid experience in Learning & Development, Learning and Development, Training and Development, Training, or Talent Development.
• Real experience leading development initiatives end-to-end, beyond administering courses or training calendars.
• Ability to work with leaders and experts, understand specialized needs, and transform them into learning solutions.
• Experience in learning paths, development programs, certifications, mentoring, and/or academies.
• Experience working with vendors, budgets, and initiative tracking.
• Results-oriented, organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and ability to work hands-on.
• Genuine curiosity about technology and Artificial Intelligence and their application to people development.

Important: we are not looking for a technical profile nor do you need to know how to program. We are looking for expertise in talent development and the ability to work hand-in-hand with those who do master the different technologies.

Experience in training compliance in Mexico: STPS/LFT, Joint Commission, training plans and programs, and evidence management.

It is desirable, not a disqualifying requirement.
