ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We want to incorporate a Senior Specialist in Mine Space Rehabilitation to join our Environment team. The geographical location of the position will be in our offices in Bilbao, Madrid, Mexico, Colombia, and/or Chile with availability to participate in national and international projects related to mining, mine closure, environmental restoration, and management of mining liabilities.

ABOUT YOU

Don't hesitate to apply if...

• You have a Degree, Bachelor's, Master's, or Higher Engineering degree in Mining Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Forestry Engineering, or related fields.
• You have proven experience of between 5 and 10 years in mine closure projects, mine space rehabilitation, environmental restoration, and/or management of mining environmental liabilities.
• You have proven experience in flora and fauna recovery, ecological restoration, and revegetation of degraded areas.
• You have proven experience in planning, design, and supervision of closure measures, deactivation, physical and geochemical stabilization, revegetation, erosion control, water management, and post-closure monitoring of mining components.
• You have proven experience in environmental and mining consulting, multidisciplinary coordination, client relations, and technical support in studies, permits, tenders, and project management related to the closure and post-closure cycle.
• You have solid knowledge of the mining lifecycle and the technical criteria applicable to progressive closure, final closure, geomorphological rehabilitation, ecological restoration, and post-closure monitoring.
• You have the ability to draft and interpret closure plans, environmental studies, technical specifications, and monitoring reports with technical rigor.
• You have national and international mobility availability.
• You have a high level of English. Knowledge of French will be positively valued.
• You work in a team and with technical rigor.
