EHS Training and Compliance Specialist

Ensure compliance with Mexican safety and health at work regulations, for clients, technical quality, and documentation of reports, as well as the management, execution, and fulfillment of training programs in security and EHS, including records and reports to the Secretariat of Labor and Social Security (STPS) through official platforms.

Main Responsibilities

1. Compliance with Regulations

• Suggest and implement risk control measures (engineering, administrative, and EPP).

• Verify compliance with applicable NOMs, including:

  • NOM-010-STPS-2014 (Chemical Agents).

  • NOM-011-STPS-2001 (Noise).

  • NOM-017-STPS-2008 (Personal Protective Equipment).

  • NOM-018-STPS-2015 (Harmonized System of Chemical Substances).

  • NOM-025-STPS-2008 (Lighting).

  • NOM-035-STPS-2018 (Psychosocial Risk Factors), in coordination with other areas.

2. Quality Management and Technical Reports

• Prepare, review, and validate technical reports on safety and EHS, ensuring their quality, coherence, and traceability.

• Perform technical and quality reviews of reports and opinions on EHS.

3. Training in Security, EHS Regulations, and STPS

• Design, deliver, and evaluate training programs in security, occupational hygiene, and EHS regulations, in accordance with STPS requirements.

• Manage the fulfillment of training programs before the STPS, including planning, execution, evidence, and follow-up.

• Register, update, and administer training on the SIRCE platform (Corporate Training Information Control), when applicable.

• Prepare and maintain mandatory documentation for training, such as:

  • Annual training programs and training records.

  • Attendance lists, DC-3 certificates, or other current records.

  • Didactic materials, evaluations, and documentary evidence.

• Ensure the availability of information and evidence for STPS inspections and client audits.

4. Continuous Improvement and EHS Integration

• Collaborate with Industrial Safety, Occupational Health, Environmental, Quality, and Human Resources areas.

• Suggest improvements based on indicators and training results.

• Support labor inspections and compliance verification processes.
