Payroll Specialist – Essential Manual Calculations Purpose of the Position Ensure timely and precise calculation and processing of payroll, ensuring compliance with Mexican labor laws, correct application of deductions and benefits, accurate payment of salaries and other compensation to employees, and maintenance of accurate and up-to-date records of employee data, including hours worked, leave taken, and other relevant information. Key responsibilities include: • Perform manual calculations for payroll purposes, taking into account various factors such as taxes, social security contributions, and other deductions. • Ensure compliance with Mexican labor laws and regulations regarding payroll processing. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employee data, including hours worked, leave taken, and other relevant information. • Process and pay salaries and other compensation to employees in a timely and accurate manner. • Identify and resolve any discrepancies or errors in payroll calculations and processing. • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of payroll processes with other business functions. • Develop and maintain knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and industry best practices related to payroll processing. • Participate in training and development programs to stay up-to-date on changes in labor laws, regulations, and industry best practices. • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
