Maintenance Specialist

LEADING COMPANY IN ITS SECTOR SEEKS:

Position: Plant Maintenance Specialist.

JOB OBJECTIVE:

To guarantee operational continuity and efficiency of industrial machinery through the rigorous execution of preventive and corrective maintenance plans.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum education: High School (Completed Baccalaureate).

• Previous experience: At least 5 years in maintenance of transmission systems, pneumatics, material transport systems, and sensors.

• Demonstrable expertise in:

- Knowledge of mechanical alignment and transmission.

- Material transport mechanisms.

- Pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

- Industrial equipment lubrication.

- Predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance.

- Electric motors, reading electrical schematics, and field instrumentation sensors.

- Application of safety systems (Lockout/Tagout / LOTO).

DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS (PLUS):

• Proficiency in welding techniques.

• Forklift operation certification or experience.

• Previous formal training in Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND FUNCTIONS:

1. Perform periodic visual and auditory inspections to detect wear, anomalous noises, or leaks in machinery.

2. Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, or hydraulic failures quickly and effectively.

3. Strictly apply industrial safety protocols, including the Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedure and the 5 S’s methodology.
