Quality Management System Specialist (Renewable Energies Sector)

Job Objective

To guarantee the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) in photovoltaic and wind plant projects and operations, ensuring compliance with national and international standards, contractual requirements, corporate standards, and best quality practices during the operation and maintenance stages.

Main Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the Quality Management System in accordance with ISO 9001 and other applicable standards.
• Develop, update, and control QMS procedures, instructions, forms, and documentation.
• Coordinate internal audits and follow up on external certification and client audits.
• Ensure compliance with quality plans during the construction and operation of photovoltaic and wind farms.
• Supervise the correct execution of quality inspections on equipment, materials, and processes.
• Manage document control processes for renewable generation projects.
• Monitor key quality indicators (KPIs) and generate reports for management.
• Manage findings, non-conformities, corrective actions, preventive actions, and opportunities for improvement.
• Participate in audits, verifying compliance with technical specifications and quality requirements.
• Coordinate training programs related to quality and continuous improvement.
• Promote a culture of quality and compliance in all project areas.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Construction, HSE, Operations, and Maintenance departments to ensure compliance with established standards.
• Participate in the review of technical specifications, construction procedures, and client handover documentation.

Academic Requirements

• Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, or a related field.
• Desirable specialization or certification in Quality Management Systems.

Required Experience

• 2 to 5 years of experience in Quality Management Systems.
• Experience in infrastructure, energy, or industrial construction projects.
• Desirable experience in photovoltaic projects, wind farms, electrical substations, or transmission lines.
• Experience in document management, audits, and continuous improvement.

Technical Knowledge

• ISO 9001:2015 Standard.
• Continuous improvement and root cause analysis tools.
• Management of non-conformities and corrective actions.
• Document control and traceability.
• Interpretation of technical specifications and drawings.
• Knowledge of construction and commissioning processes for photovoltaic and wind plants.
• Management of KPIs and data analysis.
• ISO 9001 Internal Auditor (desirable).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems.
