Industrial Cost Specialist
Job description
Engineer responsible for developing, estimating and managing industrial costs for automotive projects, ensuring competitiveness and profitability. Strategic role in structuring process costs, supporting quotes for new projects and initiatives to reduce costs, with direct interface with multifunctional areas.
About our client
Our client is a multinational automotive industry giant with strong recognition and presence in the market of its operation.
Main responsibilities
- Development and management of industrial costs for automotive components (stamping, welding, assembly of exhaust systems).
- Support for new project quotes simultaneously, with a view of product design to effective SOP in factory.
- Definition of costs: materials, investments (CAPEX), labor, cycle time, hourly rate and technical data for new projects and series production.
- Conducting initiatives for cost reduction and margin improvement.
- Participation in multifunctional forums on competitiveness, influencing engineering, production and support areas.
- Interface with global areas and participation in international projects.
We are looking for a hands-on and proactive profile with systemic and analytical vision, as well as agility and risk-taking for decision-making.
It is of utmost importance and necessity to present:
- Higher Education Complete - preferably in Engineering;
- Professional history in elaboration and management of Operational Costs;
- Background in the Automotive sector as responsible for Costs;
- Mastery in SAP and Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel);
- Advanced English for conversation.
