Espaa - Project Manager
Job description
We are looking for a PM to join a leading company in the renewable energy sector, specialized in technological solutions for the valorization of waste and the development of sustainable infrastructure.
LOCATION: Madrid, Spain.
SECTOR: Waste-to-energy.
The company operates at an international level, with offices in North America, Europe, Africa, and Asia, and projects and technologies implemented in multiple waste recovery facilities around the world.
FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for a PM to manage projects, meeting commitments and respecting or improving established deadlines and margins.
- Analyze and understand contractual terms to ensure compliance with all project obligations.
- Identify early project risks and apply corrective measures.
- Manage client relationships in all aspects, including official correspondence, meetings, and minor contract modifications (within authority limits).
- Supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and procurement processes.
- Leverage assigned project resources, ensuring punctual and coherent deliveries.
- Organize and motivate the project team, establishing priorities and resolving conflicts.
- Ensure internal coordination and communication.
- Maintain a reliable reporting plan, sending reports within agreed-upon deadlines.
- Create and update project schedules periodically.
- Support the commercial department in negotiations and contract closures.
- Comply with and enforce all company-established safety and quality standards.
- The Project Manager represents the highest authority at the project level and is responsible for global results, meeting deadlines, and coordinating effectively among all team members.
REQUIREMENTS, EXPERIENCE, AND TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
- Bachelor's or technical degree in one of the following fields: Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering
- Demonstrated experience as a Project Manager in the industrial plant sector.
- Experience in waste treatment, anaerobic digestion, or wastewater treatment.
- Knowledge of contract management for complex plant supplies.
- Experience in client relationship management.
- Leadership and coordination skills for multidisciplinary teams.
- Knowledge of project administration and budget control.
- Experience in planning and tracking schedules.
- Procurement and supplier management skills.
- Problem-solving ability.
SOFt SKILLS
- Prioritization sense and understanding of the impact of their work on other company areas.
- General knowledge of business management and how project results affect company planning and investments.
- Understanding of sales strategies and their relation to project execution.
- Familiarity with procurement strategies, especially for high-value products or services with few suppliers available.
- TRAVEL: Availability for travel within budget limits

CONTRACT
- Indefinite contract at full-time
- Competitive salary: between 60-80,000 euros gross
