Route Escort

You want to take on daily challenges and contribute to the advancement of large-scale projects?

As a route escort, you will be responsible for assisting our drivers and ensuring the safety of road users. You will also be involved in attaching heavy equipment, oversized loads, and wind turbines that will be delivered to clients in Quebec, Canada, and the United States.

Daily tasks include :

• Ensuring compliance with equipment before each departure;
• FOLLOWING or LEADING a convoy throughout the transportation of cargo;
• Ensuring the safety of road users and transported cargo;
• Ensuring traffic flow when necessary;
• FOLLOWING routes and conditions indicated on circulation permits;
• Assisting the truck driver in their work (loading, unloading, hitching, etc.);
• Respecting road safety rules and occupational health and safety rules;
• Performing physical route checks.

To succeed :

• Possess a Class 5 driver's license;
• Availability to travel across Canada and the United States;
• Able to take on trips ranging from 1 day to 1 week;
• Hold an excellent driving record;
• Communicate in English.
