Job description
Job Description
This company specializes in
• assembly of large steel structures
• industrial assembly works
• mechanical maintenance
• industrial relocations
• mobile crane works
They primarily work for steel constructors, industrial clients, manufacturing companies, and general contractors.
However, their main activity remains steel assembly on industrial and complex construction projects.
They do not assemble small decorative steel structures or light workshop works, but heavy load-bearing steel structures of tens of tons, and for larger projects, even hundreds of tons of steel.
Some individual pieces weigh several tons and are assembled at great heights using mobile telescopic cranes, aerial work platforms, and lifting equipment.
We are specifically looking for a candidate with demonstrable experience in assembling large steel structures on construction sites.
The candidate will be responsible for, among other things:
• assembly of steel structures on industrial sites
• installation of platforms, stairs, and gratings
• assembly of supporting steel structures
• aligning and positioning steel parts
• safely attaching loads for lifting operations
• carrying out minor adjustment works on site (grinding, drilling, small welding jobs, etc.)
• collaborating with mobile telescopic cranes and aerial work platforms
• adhering to safety procedures at height and on industrial sites
Your assignments are usually carried out in a team of 2 to 5 colleagues.
You leave the workshop for the site locations every day. Therefore, a driving license B is necessary to drive the van.
Your workday usually starts between 6 AM and 7 AM. Profile Who are we looking for?
- You master Dutch very well — important for communication via walkie-talkies on the site.
- You possess a driving license B.
- You have prior experience in assembling large load-bearing steel structures, complex industrial assembly phases, collaborating with crane operators and assembly teams, assembly work under lifting operations, ...
- You can interpret assembly plans.
- You have the right mentality: eager to learn, motivated, and willing to master a technical profession.
- Physically demanding and heavier work does not deter you.
- You are handy and technically inclined.
- You respect all safety regulations and strictly adhere to them.
- You have prior experience working at height and feel comfortable with it.
- Working outdoors, in various weather conditions, is not a problem for you.
- Having a VCA certificate is an additional asset. Offer What can you expect?
- An hourly wage of 19 euros + danger premium.
- You work with new and high-quality materials.
- Full reimbursement of your travel expenses, both ways.
- You will join a close-knit team of approximately four people.
- You will receive 12 ADV days in addition to your regular vacation days.
- Various extra-legal benefits:
* Annual bonuses
* Eco-cheques
* End-of-year gift
- Fun team-building events, such as summer barbecues and winter activities.
- You will receive thorough training and guidance, with opportunities for advancement to, for example, foreman or crane operator.
The full training lasts approximately eighteen months.
And finally: you get the best colleagues on top of it all!
Interested? Apply today!
