What will you do?

Imagine: you behind the wheel of a bus. As an experienced bus driver, you skillfully navigate a large vehicle through the streets of Nieuwegein. For you, no turn is too sharp and no intersection too busy. You know the roads, the traffic, and your passengers. You easily strike up conversations along the way, while always remaining focused on their safety and well-being. As a bus driver, you are a familiar face and an indispensable link for our passengers. You bring them safely and on time to their destination. Come rain or shine: they can always count on you. With your routine, you ensure a friendly smile, a professional driving style, and a warm welcome on board.

The job of a bus driver offers a lot of freedom. You have fixed routes and times, but because you drive alone, you must be able to work independently and responsibly. With your experience, you know exactly how to handle busy rush hours, diverse passenger groups, and unexpected situations. Essentially, you are the boss in your own bus.

What we offer you:

A good bus driver is social, independent, responsible, and stress-resistant. Safety is paramount in your work, followed closely by the care for your passengers. You enjoy making a tangible contribution to society. A bit of humor and patience are also very welcome.

Furthermore, we ask:

• Driver's license D and Code 95 (or the willingness to obtain Code 95). Do you not have the correct papers for this position? We are happy to look into the possibilities with you.
• Living in the vicinity of Nieuwegein
• Willingness to work in variable shifts

What do you bring?

As a bus driver, you are part of a team with a lot of social contact and responsibility. You drive in your own region and know your schedule a year in advance. Do you not yet have all the necessary papers? Via the Transdev Academy, we are happy to look at the possibilities with you to provide further training.

In addition, we offer:

• Our trust: a permanent contract after 1 year with good performance;
• A salary between €2,876 and €3,934 per month;
• Monthly irregularity allowance of an average of €355, for a full-time employment;
• 8% holiday pay and an end-of-year bonus of 1.15% and an annual gross payout of €400;
• Occasional rest: 23 to 29 vacation days, depending on your age;
• Extra days off: 17 or 26 ATV days, depending on your age and years of service;
• We provide for now and later: pension according to Rail & OV;
• Sustainable travel: a (electric) bicycle through Lease a Bike;
• Travel expenses reimbursement according to the CAO OV.
