ERP Software Developer (m/w/d)

We are looking together with our partner, an internationally active industrial company in the field of high-quality medical system solutions, for a ERP Software Developer (m/w/d) in the Ulm area.

In this role, you will be responsible for the further development and technical adaptation of the ERP system proALPHA. You will act as an interface between IT, departments, and external systems and ensure together with the team that business processes are optimally supported by stable, high-performance, and integrated ERP solutions.

Tasks

• The further development and adaptation of the ERP application proALPHA, as well as ensuring a stable system landscape, are central tasks in this role. Based on professional and systemic requirements, you will create technical specifications that serve as a basis for implementation.
• You will integrate third-party systems and take over the binding of external applications such as administrative, shipping, or webshop systems.
• In the context of quality assurance, you will conduct functional tests and be responsible for systematic error analysis and the subsequent elimination of identified disturbances.
• You will actively participate in digitalization projects, particularly in the areas of e-invoicing, digital documents, and process automation.
• Supporting users: 2nd-level support as well as close cooperation with key users in operational daily business rounds off the task spectrum.

Qualification

• Multiple years of professional experience in application development, ideally in the ERP field
• Very good knowledge of proALPHA
• Safe handling of relational databases as well as fundamental programming knowledge (Progress OpenEdge advantageous)
• Experience in binding and integrating third-party systems as well as interface management
• Fluent German skills
