ERP Manager Microsoft Dynamics NAV/ Business Central (m/f/d)

A central building block in this is our ERP landscape: We currently work with Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2017 – a migration to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is planned for 2027.

For this, we are not just looking for someone to manage our ERP. We are looking for a personality who takes responsibility, understands processes, and shapes our future ERP landscape together with our business departments and external partners.

Tasks

Your Role

As an ERP Manager (m/f/d), you will take central responsibility for the operation and further development of our ERP system as well as for the planned migration to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

You will connect technology and business: As a central interface between Finance, Operations, Purchasing, Logistics, and E-Commerce, you will ensure that processes, data, and systems work together reliably.

Your Tasks

ERP Operation & Migration

• You are responsible for the operation, maintenance, and further development of our Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2017.
• Together with our implementation partner, you will manage the migration to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central planned for 2027.
• You will coordinate requirements, data migration, testing, as well as cutover and go-live preparation.
• You will work closely with our key users, accompany training sessions, and ensure sustainable user acceptance.

Finance & Accounting

• You will continuously further develop our ERP-supported financial and accounting processes.
• You will support the financial modules – from general ledger and sub-ledgers to fixed asset accounting.
• Together with Group Accounting, you will support month-end and year-end closing as well as consolidation processes.
• You will ensure high data quality and reliable evaluations and reports.

Interfaces & Integrations

• You are responsible for the ERP-side interfaces to 3PL partners, shops, and marketplaces – from orders and inventories to tracking and master data.
• Together with our E-Commerce team, you will further develop our integration architecture based on modern APIs and middleware solutions.
• You will ensure consistent master, inventory, and transaction data across the involved systems.

Governance & Partner Management

• You will manage external service providers and implementation partners regarding performance, budget, and SLAs.
• You will document systems and processes and ensure compliance with relevant data protection and compliance requirements.
• You will monitor our ERP landscape and continuously develop it further.

Qualification

It is not important to us that you can tick every single box. What matters is that you master Microsoft Dynamics professionally, understand commercial processes, and are eager to take responsibility for a business-critical system landscape.

What you should bring:

• Several years of practical experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV and/or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
• In-depth knowledge of the financial modules, especially general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and fixed asset accounting
• Solid understanding of accounting processes, chart of accounts, closing, and consolidation
• Experience with ERP migration or implementation projects
• Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented way of working
• Very good German and English skills

We would also be pleased about:

• Studies in Business Informatics or Business Administration, or a commercial apprenticeship with an IT/ERP focus
• SQL and database knowledge
• Experience with APIs, EDI or middleware as well as integrations to 3PL, shops or marketplaces
• Experience in managing external implementation or IT partners
