Our client is a successful machine building company with around 500 employees. With high technical competence and innovative power, the company develops and produces sophisticated machines and systems for international customers.

In the context of digital further development, the ERP landscape will be continuously optimized and adapted to business processes. For this purpose, an engaged person is sought who combines IT expertise with a deep understanding of workflows in machine building – and enjoys as ERP-Consultant (m/w/d) actively driving digitalization and process optimization.

Tasks

• Analyse, optimize, and re-design business processes in various company departments (e.g. production, construction, material management, finance, and sales)
• Independent development of solution concepts as well as close coordination with the management team and the owner's family
• Responsibility for leading projects including coordinating implementation teams and steering external service providers
• Counseling on selecting and introducing suitable ERP modules
• Support and guidance for users during and after implementing new processes and systems
• Preparation of project documentation, evaluations, and reports for the project leadership and management

Qualification

• Degree in business informatics, computer science or a comparable qualification, preferably with a technical background
• Practical experience in project and change management with strong implementation power
• Deep understanding of business processes in various industries, ideally in a manufacturing company
• Comprehensive experience in consulting and implementing ERP systems
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Team-oriented, independent, and structured working style
