ERP Consultant / IT Project Manager (m/w/d)

Introduction We at OGS develop one of the most powerful ERP systems for medium-sized enterprises with OGSiD. Our customers come from industries such as building materials, concrete, food and technical trade – everywhere where robust processes and genuine integration are required. With OGSiD11 we're taking our system into the future: modern Angular frontends, Java microservices and smart automation. For this, we're looking for people who don't just understand digitalization but want to shape it – in close collaboration with our customers and partners. As an ERP Consultant / IT Project Manager (m/w/d), you'll be responsible for leading projects from the initial planning phase to implementation and go-live. You'll work closely with our development team, ensuring that our system meets the needs of our customers. Your tasks will include: • Defining project goals and objectives in close collaboration with the customer • Developing a detailed project plan, including timelines, milestones and resources • Leading and coordinating the project team, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and within budget • Ensuring that the project is implemented according to our quality standards and customer requirements • Identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues during the project • Coordinating with other departments, such as sales, marketing and support, to ensure a smooth project implementation. • Developing and maintaining relationships with customers and partners. • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and developments in ERP systems and IT project management. • Participating in internal training and knowledge-sharing initiatives. Requirements: • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g. computer science, business administration) • At least 3 years of experience in ERP system implementation or IT project management • Strong understanding of ERP systems and their integration with other business processes • Excellent communication and leadership skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint • Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies • Certification in ITIL or PRINCE2 is an advantage • Fluency in German (written and spoken) is required. English language skills are also important.
