Job description

We are IDEEMATEC – a globally leading manufacturer of innovative solar trackers for large photovoltaic power plants. For over 20 years, our employees have been developing future-oriented solutions with expertise, curiosity, and commitment. With over 80 patents and more than 10 GW of installed trackers in over 30 countries, we increase global energy yields, enhance long-term reliability, and drive the energy transition forward.

As an ERP & Business Process Architect (m/f/d), you will shape the target architecture of IDEEMATEC's ERP and process landscape – from process recording and vendor-neutral system selection to implementation. As the functional voice of the client side, you will translate the requirements of the business departments into a viable target vision and develop decision recommendations for management. You will make independent decisions within the framework of defined standards.

You will work closely with the business departments, IT and Data & Analytics, as well as external implementation partners – for an integrated, scalable ERP landscape that effectively supports IDEEMATEC's international growth as a company with project and order-based manufacturing.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

Target Vision, Processes & Requirements

  • Co-development of the ERP target architecture, including interface and data concepts, together with IT and Data & Analytics

  • Independent management and further development of the functional process architecture with a focus on end-to-end processes

  • Independent management of requirements gathering and analysis in all business departments, as well as analysis of existing processes for weaknesses and automation potentials

  • Independent definition of the goal, scope, and boundaries of ERP projects, including action needs and prioritization recommendations

System Selection & Implementation

  • Vendor-neutral evaluation of ERP systems and solution options (standard vs. individual solution), as well as development of decision recommendations

  • Functional responsibility for requirements specifications and their translation into ERP module requirements, including assessment of the impact of changes

  • Functional management of and negotiation with implementation partners and software vendors

  • Planning and coordination of functional, integration, and acceptance tests in coordination with the business departments

Data Quality & Knowledge Transfer

  • Independent analysis of data and process quality, initiation of improvement measures, and further development of standards in compliance with authorization and compliance requirements

  • Establishment and further development of a Key User network, enablement of Key Users, and support of tests, rollouts, and release changes, including documentation

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Completed degree in Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a comparable field of study

  • Several years of professional experience (minimum 5 years) in ERP business analysis, process architecture, or ERP consulting, ideally in an industry with project or order-based manufacturing

  • Experience in supporting ERP selection and implementation projects on the client side

  • In-depth knowledge of process modeling, requirements management, and data and interface concepts

  • Vendor-neutral understanding of common ERP systems

  • Proficient use of tools for process modeling and documentation, as well as MS Office

  • Fluent German and very good English skills
