ERP Administrator (m/w/d) | ERP-Operation, Administration & System Stability

We are looking for an experienced ERP Administrator (m/w/d) on behalf of a very solid, family-owned company from the international machinery and equipment industry.

The company develops and produces technically demanding special machines for many decades and is one of the leading suppliers in its segment worldwide. Several hundred employees work at a central location that stands for continuity, quality, and long-term decision-making.

In the company, an established, industry-specific ERP system on Oracle database basis is in productive operation, which represents a central part of business processes.

The goal of this position is to ensure the stable, secure, and performant operation of the ERP system in the long term, maintain technical structures, and continuously develop the system landscape.

This role is aimed at ERP administrators who understand system availability, operational safety, and technical quality as the core of their responsibility and want to take on this task medium- to long-term.

Aufgaben

Your tasks will be clearly located in the technical ERP operation and system administration:

• Administration, operation, and maintenance of the existing ERP system
• Surety of system availability, stability, and performance
• Implementation, coordination, and integration of system updates and patches
• Monitoring of the ERP environment and analysis and correction of technical errors
• Analysis and processing of performance and stability issues on system- and Oracle database level
• Adaptation and configuration of the ERP system according to technical and professional requirements
• Maintenance, development, and care of interfaces to adjacent systems (e.g. financial accounting, inventory management, procurement)
• User administration, role, and authorization concepts
• Technical support for the introduction of new modules and functions
• Creation and maintenance of technical documentation
• Collaboration with external service providers and manufacturer support
• Training and technical support for ERP users

Qualifikation

We are looking for candidates who bring the following qualifications:

• Degree or study in the field of computer science, business informatics, or comparable
• Mult-year professional experience in the administration of ERP systems
• Very good understanding of ERP operation, system architectures, and technical relationships
• Experience with ERP systems on Oracle database basis
• Knowledge of SQL (PL/SQL is advantageous)
• Experience in the care of interfaces and system integrations
• Structured, reliable, and solution-oriented working style
• High sense of responsibility for productive systems
• Able to clearly document and communicate technical matters
• Teamwork skills and confident handling of internal departments
