Occupational Therapist (part-time – 50%)

The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is looking for an occupational therapist for 20 hours a week, spread over a regime of 5 days a week, to temporarily replace someone who is sick.

• You are responsible for taking anamneses, determining goals, treatment and evaluation, and giving advice to both residential and ambulatory patients with physical and cognitive impairments.
• You set up functional screenings and provide assistive device and mobility advice.
• You can write reports and communicate clearly.
• You are responsible for the daily planning of occupational therapy sessions for assigned patients.

• You have a bachelor's degree in occupational therapy and possess an RIZIV number.
• You have a strong affinity with the orthopedic target group, both adults and children.
• You are flexible and can easily adapt to a varied patient population and a changing workload.
• You work independently as well as in team and have a strong sense of responsibility.
• You like to learn and want to actively contribute to new developments within the department.
• You can start quickly.
