aurivus is an innovative startup specializing in the development of cutting-edge AI for 3D data processing in web applications. Our company has received multiple awards in the past for AI competence, business plan, and innovation. Inspired by the most successful software companies in the world, we have built a strong software and AI development team in Ulm.

Our neural networks analyze 3D scans in the form of point clouds of industrial plants and buildings and provide the extracted information to the user via an interactive 3D web application.

Our web platform serves as a collaborative access point for the user to the AI for planning and action recommendations. Data can be visualized, filtered, and exported in an interactive, virtual 3D representation of the plant.

For the expansion and enhancement of our web platform, we are looking for an experienced Software Architect (m/f/d) Cloud/Web & DevOps:

Responsibilities

• Web & Application Architecture: You will conceptualize, design, and develop our scalable web application with a focus on a performant backend (Python/Rust) and frontend (React/Typescript).
• Infrastructure Modernization: You will be the driving force behind the introduction of Kubernetes for container-based orchestration of our services and will shape our step into the next level of technology.
• Hybrid Deployment & Operation: You will be responsible for the deployment and smooth operation of our solutions – both in the cloud and in our customers' on-premise environments.
• Interface & Team Culture: As a communicative team player, you will act as the bridge between application development and our ML/AI experts. You will drive architecture discussions forward and proactively share your knowledge.
• Security & Stability: You will keep an eye on common attack vectors (e.g., OWASP Top 10) and keep dependencies up-to-date, also with the help of CI/CD.

• Programming is not just your job, but your calling.
• Sound Practical Experience: You have several years (senior) of experience in the conception, development, and long-term operation of robust (web) applications (CRUD).
• Tech Stack: You are strong in Python and React/Node.js. Through your experience with other stacks (e.g., Angular, Go, Java, .NET), you make well-founded, objective architectural decisions.
• Containers & Orchestration: You are comfortable working with Docker. You have practical experience or at least a very strong interest in building Kubernetes infrastructures.
• Enterprise & Hybrid Experience: You understand the requirements of enterprise IT and have no qualms about on-premise deployments and complex network architectures.
• Personality: You have an open and communicative personality and enjoy approaching colleagues.
