Experienced Bookkeeper (m/w/d) with DATEV Knowledge

Your Tasks

You will work structured, have a good sense of numbers and want to apply your expertise in a company that supports brain research worldwide? Then take over the following tasks at our company:

• Sole responsibility for processing all business transactions in accounts receivable, accounts payable, and subsidiary accounting
• Verification and booking of expense reports, credit card statements, and travel expense claims
• Ensuring smooth cash flow and timely processing of payments
• Assistance with monthly and annual closings as well as financial reporting
• Optimization and further development of internal processes
• Perspective: Optional entry into controlling (cost overviews, evaluations, budget planning)

Your Profile

• Completed vocational training in accounting, ideally as a certified accountant or tax consultant
• Multiple years of experience in bookkeeping and solid knowledge of German tax law
• Familiarity with DATEV and MS Office (especially Excel); knowledge of DocuWare is an advantage
• Experience or interest in controlling
• Structured, self-reliant, and meticulous work style
• Very good German language skills and solid English language skills
• Teamwork ability, communication strength, and joy in constructive cooperation
