Experienced Team Leader Engineering (m/w/d)

An experienced team leader is sought for a strategic engineering function in an internationally oriented, technologically demanding environment.

The position combines operational responsibility in daily business with the leadership of a construction team and offers perspective for further development into a higher-level technical management function.

Tasks

Liaising the engineering team and being responsible for the mechanical design of complex technical systems.

Ensuring high-quality and timely project development in close cooperation with procurement and production.

Supporting optimization of engineering processes and construction standards.

Collaboration and coordination on challenging technical questions in the context of complex groups and rotating systems.

Technical alignment with internal departments, customers, and suppliers within ongoing projects.

Qualification

Degree in mechanical engineering or comparable technical qualification with a construction-focused emphasis.

Multiple years of experience in special machinery manufacturing or a technologically demanding plant environment.

In-depth knowledge of designing complex groups, ideally with reference to rotating systems.

Safe handling of 2D and 3D CAD systems as well as experience with PDM and ERP processes.

Structured work approach, economic understanding, and initial leadership experience or pronounced project management responsibility.
