Job Summary As an EP Lab Technician, you will be responsible for assisting physicians in the electrophysiology lab by operating diagnostic and therapeutic equipment to treat patients with cardiac arrhythmia. What you will do in this role: Assists physicians during electrophysiology procedures, including device implantation. Operates and maintains all EP lab equipment. Monitors patients' vital signs and assesses their condition during procedures. Prepares the lab for procedures, including stocking supplies and ensuring equipment is functioning properly. Documents patient information and procedure details accurately. Provides technical support to the physicians during procedures. Ensures patient safety and comfort throughout the procedures. Maintains a clean and organized work environment. Qualifications What you will need to be successful in this role: Associate degree in Cardiovascular Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience. Certification as a Certified Electrophysiology Specialist (CEPS) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) preferred. BLS and ACLS certifications required. Previous experience in an electrophysiology lab preferred. Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and electrophysiology principles. Ability to operate EP lab equipment effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
