Environmental Specialist

To strengthen the Environmental Management function, we are looking for an Environmental Specialist who will support the correct management of corporate environmental obligations and the maintenance of regulatory compliance applicable to production facilities.


The role will operate in close contact with the Production, Maintenance, Safety, Quality, and General Services departments, collaborating with external consultants, laboratories, and control bodies.

The role is focused on the operational management of environmental aspects, monitoring authorization requirements, and collecting and managing the data necessary for legislative compliance and continuous improvement processes.

An initial period of shadowing is foreseen to facilitate understanding of company processes and the environmental management system.


Main responsibilities and assigned activities:

  • Operational management of processes related to company waste:
  • waste classification and coding;
  • verification of characterization analyses;
  • control of temporary storage;
  • management of forms and records required by regulations.
  • Management of obligations related to RENTRI and preparation of data for the MUD declaration.
  • Support in managing environmental obligations related to:
  • WEEE;
  • batteries and accumulators;
  • CONAI environmental contributions;
  • transport of dangerous goods (ADR).
  • Monitoring and data collection related to:
  • atmospheric emissions;
  • industrial discharges;
  • water consumption;
  • abstraction wells;
  • other environmental aspects subject to authorization.
  • Updating and managing environmental documentation, authorizations, and schedules required by regulations.
  • Support in preparing authorization applications and managing operational relationships with competent authorities, laboratories, and specialized consultants.
  • Collaboration in audit activities, third-party verifications, and monitoring of legislative compliance.
  • Collection and processing of environmental data to support corporate reporting, sustainability initiatives, and continuous improvement projects.


Required skills:

  • Technical diploma or degree in Environmental Sciences, Environmental and Land Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related fields.
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations applicable to manufacturing companies.
  • Knowledge of industrial waste management processes and related documentary obligations.
  • Familiarity with main environmental authorization systems (Integrated Environmental Authorization).
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel.

  • Direct employment by the company

  • Position level: to be determined based on skills and experience
  • Indicative Gross Annual Salary (RAL):

Junior: from € 27,000 to € 29,000

Middle: from € 29,000 to € 35,000

The economic proposal will be defined based on experience and skills.


The salary package also includes:

  • Performance bonus of € 2,600 annually;
  • Attendance bonus up to € 250 / € 500 annually.
