Environmental Responsibility Officer

Career Opportunity for an Environmental Responsibility Officer at our Pitești factory.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and coordinate environmental management systems, processes, verification, and control;
• Develop, implement, and maintain the environmental management system in accordance with legal requirements and Group standards;
• Identify and analyze legal requirements and other applicable requirements in the field of Environment (e.g. Group requirements, client requirements, standard requirements etc.) and propose actions to comply with these, for their area of responsibility and competence;
• Ensure timely closure of open actions/measures in specific databases (LoP local. Input: Audit reports, Crosscheck, Process verbal control, Reviews, Monitoring reports etc.);
• Manage waste at the company level and ensure required records for legislation, authorities, and Group management at central level.

Requirements:

• Higher education degree with 1-3 years of experience in the field;
• Course on Environmental Responsibility Officer and Waste Management Course;
• Course in Occupational Health and Safety – 80 hours constitutes an advantage;
• Auditor internal ISO45001, auditor internal ISO14001:2015 - constitutes an advantage;
• Computer skills (MS Office);
• English language constitutes an advantage;
• Process-oriented thinking, problem-solving skills, objective-oriented thinking, communication skills, and personal initiative.
