Environmental Officers - BNE - Gen

We regularly tender for works in Brisbane, the Goldy/Sunny Coasts and all around Queensland and are seeking expressions of interest from Environmental Officers to support a range of TMR, Urban & Regional Council's works Programs to provide high level guidance of environmental management expertise to meet the Department's and Government's commitments. Mandatory Experience As a guide you would be expected to have at least five years' experience on green or brownfield infrastructure construction projects, preferably with a focus on environmental management. This role will involve providing high-level guidance on environmental management expertise to support the delivery of TMR, Urban & Regional Council's works Programs. Key responsibilities include: • Providing expert advice and guidance on environmental management matters to support the delivery of TMR, Urban & Regional Council's works Programs. • Developing and implementing effective environmental management plans and strategies for infrastructure construction projects. • Conducting site visits and inspections to monitor compliance with environmental management plans and strategies. • Collaborating with project teams to identify and mitigate potential environmental impacts. • Providing training and guidance to project staff on environmental management best practices. • Maintaining accurate records of environmental monitoring and reporting data. • Staying up-to-date with relevant legislation, regulations and industry best practices in environmental management.
