We're seeking an Environmental GIS Analyst to play a critical role in managing and improving spatial data systems that support environmental monitoring, compliance reporting, and field operations.
This is a hands-on technical role ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of environmental science, geospatial technology, and digital transformation. You'll work with ArcGIS Enterprise, Esri Field Maps, dashboards, and environmental datasets to support real-time decision-making, stakeholder reporting, and regulatory compliance.

We're seeking an Environmental GIS Analyst to play a critical role in managing and improving spatial data systems that support environmental monitoring, compliance reporting, and field operations.
This is a hands-on technical role ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of environmental science, geospatial technology, and digital transformation. You'll work with ArcGIS Enterprise, Esri Field Maps, dashboards, and environmental datasets to support real-time decision-making, stakeholder reporting, and regulatory compliance.
What You'll Do
- Administer and configure ArcGIS Enterprise (Portal, Server, Data Store, Web Adaptors).
- Manage and visualise spatial data related to biodiversity, heritage, land disturbance, water, air, and soil quality.
- Design field data capture solutions using Esri Field Maps and ensure mobile workflows meet compliance standards.
- Develop dashboards and apps using ArcGIS Dashboards, Experience Builder, StoryMaps, and more.
- Support integration of environmental data into other systems (e.g., SCADA, asset management, document control).
- Collaborate with environmental professionals, engineers, and IT teams to automate reporting and improve data governance.
- Enable traceable, auditable environmental reporting workflows for regulators and landholders.
- Strong hands-on experience with ArcGIS Enterprise administration and GIS solution design.
- Proficiency with environmental or compliance datasets, schema design, and regulatory reporting workflows.
- Experience in Python (ArcPy/API), SQL, and data automation tools.
- Knowledge of environmental regulations and field monitoring practices (advantageous).
- Experience with mobile data capture, ETL processes, and integrating geospatial with enterprise systems.
- Ability to communicate technical solutions clearly to environmental field teams and senior stakeholders.
- Degree in Environmental Science, Geospatial Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Esri certifications or training in Field Maps, ArcGIS Enterprise, or app building (desirable).
- Background in infrastructure, renewables, construction, mining, or utilities is highly regarded.
- Work on high-impact projects that protect the environment and ensure compliance across major operations.
- Help shape a digital-first approach to environmental monitoring and land stewardship.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to innovation, sustainability, and integrity.
