Environmental Field Chemist - Class B CDL

Clean Harbors in Linden, NJ is seeking an Environmental Field Chemist (CleanPack Chemist CDL) to handle, segregate, pack, and inspect chemical waste in accordance with Federal/State/Local regulations and our company policies and procedures. This position will work both indoors and outdoors at plants, labs, customer sites and are responsible for assisting with lab packs within customer facilities, household hazardous waste (HHW) collections and lab moves. This is a customer facing position, working closely with customers to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. The Environmental Field Chemist will be required to operate a Class B CDL vehicle to transport chemical waste to designated facilities. In addition, this role will involve performing various tasks such as sampling, testing, and analyzing chemical waste, as well as maintaining accurate records of all activities performed. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities. The Environmental Field Chemist must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods of time, and work in various weather conditions.
